Trading View does not require users to ID verify to use the platform for using their basic features, however to undertake trades the user is required to undergo KYC with the third-party broker. ## DATA RETENTION If a user requests to delete an account, the account will be deleted after 30 days, during which the user can stop the deletion process. Where an account is deleted, published ideas/scripts and messages sent to other users will be saved “as they have already integrated into our system”. Certain data including but not limited to; transaction logs, financial records, addresses and employment details may be kept for up to ten (10) years to comply with legal obligations including tax laws, audits and security. Published ideas will remain on the site and messages sent to other users cannot be deleted even in the instance of account deletion. ## WHAT IS DISCLOSED AND WITH WHO Trading View state they only share personal data with third parties in the event that it’s needed for the provision of services. If the user registers to be a user of Essential/Plus/Premium/Expert/Ultimate Accounts (a paid user), the third party payment processor will process information relating to payment card, bank account information or payment account information. For Trading View to provide their services, data may be shared with; * Card processing or payment services * IT suppliers * Contractors * Data hosting providers * Delivery partners * Web and mobile analytics providers * Providers of digital marketing services * Providers of marketing and sales software solutions * Affiliated businesses Payment processors include; * Braintree * Coinbase * Razorpay * Apple * Google * Triple A * dLocal Analytics Services include; * Firebase * Flurry Analytics * Visual Studio App Centre (owned by Microsoft) * AppsFlyer * Sentry * Google Ad Manager * Google Ads * Meta Pixel * X (Twitter) Pixel * Google ReCAPTCHA When a user buys market data from ICE or other stock exchances, Trading View gives them the users; * Name * Phone number * Address * Email ## TERMS OF SERVICE Use of the service is deemed acceptance of the Terms and policies. Trading view is the data controller By using publishing features (charts with indicators and comments, ideas, scripts and other content), the user grants to Trading View an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free licence to publish and disclose the content. Any opinions, chats, messages, news, research, analysis, prices or information contained on the Trading View website are provided as general market information for educational and entertainment purposes only. Users who take out Non-Professional Subscriber Status confirm under the terms in taking out that type of subscription that a number of statements are true including things like only using Trading View for personal use not for business or any other entity, for registered or qualified with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), nor conduct any functions similar to those that require registration with such and other bodies etc etc. Trading View reserve the right should they or their exchange partners determine, based in information provided and/or company websites, email address and domain, LinkedIn, regulatory or company registries or payment method, that the user actually meets the criteria for “professional” at any point during or after subscribing to Trading View or to market data from exchanges, the user will be liable for the difference between “Non-professional” and “Professional” subscription rates for Trading View and relevant market data. This applies retroactively from the date the user initiated the subscription. The invoice for the difference may be automatically issued and the associated amount charged to the users on-file payment method. This Substack is reader-supported. If using third party materials in uploading the script the user confirms they have the right to distribute third-party material in the script. Users agree that they will not submit material within scripts which is copyrighted, protected by trade secrets or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including patent, privacy and publicity rights, unless they are the owner of such rights or have permission from the rightful owner. By using the publish script feature, users grant to Trading View a world wide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to; * Publish the script (as well as the username of the author) * Disclose the source code of the script for open scripts * Perform, display, use and make available the open script, or invite-only script. Scripts can be published under any licence.
